Karina Mosegård is a Danish contemporary fine artist born in 1966 in Denmark. Over her long career spanning several decades, her work has evolved from experimental, space-based installations to intricate clay creations.
Her artwork shows a deep fascination with nature, the organic world, and the passage of time.
“I studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Arts 1989-1995. Graduated in 1997 with a master’s degree in fine art, Berlin UDK, University of the Arts, Germany, EU.
I have participated in over 100 solo & group exhibitions in

History:
“In my artistic work, I have been intensively engaged with space, not only in the traditional sense; I have used modern materials and objects to create contemporary realities in a transformed form.
In many of my works in the 1990s, I have worked with transience. The works were unique, in the sense, that they only existed for a short period of time, as the space in which they were created was part of the work. Afterward, they only exist as memories, just like the past, which also exists only in memories, traces of time that slowly disappear into oblivion.
With my works, I communicate with the viewer. Through ambiguity and expression, I ask the question rather than answer a question.
